Have you ever heard of Antifa? Antifa is a left-wing domestic terrorist group that takes direct action against right-wing domestic terrorist groups. Many believe Antifa is not a terrorist group. However, as shown from the below picture, you will see that Antifa members are what journalists call a militant group. Do not let the media fool you by calling Antifa a militant group. In fact, the media has used the same term to describe al Qaeda, the Islamic State, and the Taliban. As we all should know by now, these are nothing more that violent extremists organizations. Otherwise known as terrorist organizations
The media has also used the terms jihadist, freedom fighters, extremists, militia members, and several more terms to soften what these terrorists and terrorists organizations actually believe. True, terrorism has existed since biblical times. However, the term terrorism was not developed until the French Revolution due to the social and political upheaval. The term changed when Stalin, Hitler, and Mussolini due to their beliefs in a supreme race.
However, in recent decades, the term terrorism reverted to its original meaning of social and political upheaval. Antifa falls into this category. Most civil rights groups criticize Antifa’s tactics as violent and counterproductive. Given that this terrorist group’s beliefs extend beyond fascism and apply are violent not only towards white supremacist and extend to all conservatives and Trump supporters to include women and children. Like other violent extremists organizations, Antifa uses propaganda.
When peaceful protests turn violent, it is typically due to Antifa inciting the crowds and using weapons to attack peaceful protestors and Trump supporters. One can only guess right now that Antifa was behind the recent looting and violence that broke out after George Floyd’s untimely demise.
Notice in the below photo that Antifa members vandalized a police cruiser a spray painted the door with the phrase “kill cops.” Terrorism is used to incite fear among the community and push its ideologies invoking fear on those that have opposing beliefs.
My viewpoint on Antifa is that while I believe anyone in the United States can assemble to voice their views of social and political happenings, suppressing others views and right to assembly afforded to them under the United States Constitution is wrong and unjust. They want to preach about social justice reform, when in actuality, they only want reforms that benefit Antifa and the hard left.
